Homar Cais

Bacharelou-se em 1964 pela Faculdade de Direito da Universidade de São Paulo, como estudante de direito, estagiou no escritório do Doutor Theotonio Negrão. Exerceu a advocacia até 1971 quando, aprovado em concurso de provas e títulos, ingressou na carreira de Procurador do Estado. Em 1974, aprovado no primeiro concurso público realizado, tomou posse como Juiz Federal Substituto na Seção Judiciária de São Paulo. Integrou o Tribunal Regional Eleitoral de 1988 a 1989. Exerceu o cargo de Juiz Vice-Presidente e Corregedor Geral do Tribunal Regional Federal da 3ª Região no biênio 1989/1991. Foi Presidente do Tribunal Regional Federal da 3ª Região no biênio 1991/1993. Aposentou-se dos quadros da Magistratura Federal no ano de 1997, passando a dedicar-se à advocacia.

Homar Cais

Homar received his law degree in 1964 from the University of São Paulo Law School. As a student, he interned at the firm headed by the renowned attorney Theotonio Negrão. After graduation, he practiced law until 1971, when he passed the public examination for a position with the São Paulo State Legal Office. Subsequently, he passed the first public examination to become a Federal Substitute Judge at the São Paulo Judiciary Section. As a judge, he served on the Regional Electoral Court of Appeals in 1988 and 1989, then as Vice President and Chief of Internal Affairs of the Federal Court of Appeals for the Third Region from 1989 to 1991, before serving as President of that Court from 1991 to 1993. He retired from the federal bench in 1997 and returned to the practice of law.

Cecília Brandileone Brown Gomes

Cecília graduated in 2002 from Universidade Paulista (UNIP). She holds a postgraduate degree in Constitutional Law from the Higher School of Constitutional Law and an academic extension certificate in Data Protection from Fundação Getúlio Vargas São Paulo (GVLAW).

Frederico Fontoura
da Silva Cais

Frederico graduated in 1994 from the University of São Paulo Law School. He holds a Master’s degree in Civil Procedural Law from the same institution and a specialization in Tax Law from the Centro de Extensão Universitária (CEU). He served as a professor of General Theory of Process at the Faculdade das Américas. He is the author of the works “Fraude de Execução” (Saraiva, 2005) and “Comentários à Lei de Ação Civil Pública e Lei de Ação Popular” (a collective work, Quartier Latin, 2006),and has published articles in specialized journals.

Marcelo L. da Matta Nepomuceno

Marcelo graduated in 1997 from the Salesian Law School of Lorena – SP (currently UNISAL – Salesian University Center of São Paulo). He holds a specialization in Consumer Relations Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo, as well as academic extensions in Contract Law from the same institution and Civil Liability in Consumer Relations from the Fundação Getúlio Vargas Law School of São Paulo – GVLAW. He is a member of the Center for Advanced Procedural Studies (CEAPRO) and the Brazilian Institute of Real Estate Law (IBRADIM).

Fernando Fontoura da Silva Cais

Fernando graduated in 2000 from the University of São Paulo Law School. He holds a Master’s and a Doctorate in Civil Procedural Law from the same institution. He is the author of “Comentários ao Código de Processo Civil”, vol. XXI (Saraiva, 2017), has published works in specialized journals, and serves as a guest professor in undergraduate and postgraduate courses at national educational institutions.

Regina de Oliveira Santos

Regina graduated in 2009 from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo. She holds a specialization in Contract Law from COGEAE PUC-SP, a postgraduate degree in Civil Law from the University of São Paulo in partnership with the São Paulo Lawyers Association (USP-AASP), and an Advanced Specialization in Civil Liability from the Arcadas Foundation – USP.

Rogerio Mollica

Graduated in 1997 from the University of São Paulo Law School – Largo São Francisco. He holds a Master’s and a Doctorate in Procedural Law from the same institution, and specializations in Business Administration (CEAG-FGV) and Tax Law (IBET). From 2010 to 2015, he served as a Judging Councilor at the Municipal Tax Council of São Paulo. He is a Full Professor in Undergraduate, Master’s, and Doctorate courses at the University of Marília (UNIMAR) and a guest professor in postgraduate courses. He is a founding member and former President of CEAPRO – Center for Advanced Procedural Studies. He is also a member of the Brazilian Institute of Procedural Law (IBDP), the Brazilian Institute of Tax Law (IBDT), and the Brazilian Arbitration Committee (CBAr). He was elected World Tax Leader 2025 in the Tax Controversy category by ITR International Tax Review and was recognized as Band 1 in Tax Litigation: MidMarket by the Chambers and Partners Ranking (2024).

Daniel Rapozo

Daniel graduated in 2002 from the Metropolitan United College (FMU). He holds a specialization in Corporate Law from the Fundação Getúlio Vargas Law School of São Paulo (GVLAW) and a specialization in Sports Law from the Escola Superior da Advocacia (OAB/SP). He is the coauthor of the book “Curso de Direito Desportivo Sistêmico”, Volume II, 1st Edition, Quartier Latin (2010). He completed an Advanced Arbitration Course organized by the São Paulo Lawyers Association (AASP).

Alexandre Rangel Ribeiro

Alexandre graduated in 1995 from the Salesian Law School of Lorena (currently UNISAL – Salesian University Center of São Paulo). He holds specializations in Civil Procedural Law from the University of Taubaté, in Tax Law from the Brazilian Institute of Tax Law, and in Economic Criminal Law from the Fundação Getúlio Vargas Law School of São Paulo (GVLAW). From 1996 to 2001, he served as a Legal Advisor to the São Paulo State Criminal Court of Appeals (TACRIM/SP).

João Francisco Naves da Fonseca

João graduated in 2006 from the University of São Paulo Law School – Largo São Francisco. He holds a Master’s and a Doctorate in Procedural Law from the same institution. He is the coauthor of “Código de Processo Civil e legislação processual em vigor” (Saraiva, 56th Edition, 2025) and “Código Civil e legislação civil em vigor” (Saraiva, 43nd Edition, 2025), both written in collaboration with Theotonio Negrão, José Roberto F. Gouvêa, and Luis Guilherme A. Bondioli. He is the author of the books “Exame dos fatos nos recursos extraordinário e especial” (Saraiva, 2012), “O processo do mandado de injunção” (Saraiva, 2016), and “Comentários ao Código de Processo Civil”, vol. IX (Saraiva, 2017). He is a member of the Brazilian Arbitration Committee (CBAr) and the Brazilian Institute of Procedural Law (IBDP), a guest professor in postgraduate courses, and an arbitrator at the Arbitration Council of the State of São Paulo (CAESP) and the Specialized Arbitration and Mediation Chamber (CAMES).

Isis Melo

Graduated in 2020 from the Mackenzie Presbyterian University Law School. Currently studying specialization in Civil Procedural Law at the Higher School of Law-ESA (2025).

Natália Fernandes Sanchez Tannus

She graduated in 2008 from the Mackenzie Presbyterian University Law School. She has a specialization in Civil Procedural Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo and an academic extension on “Typical and Atypical Contracts: regulation and interpretation” from the Getúlio Vargas Foundation of São Paulo Law School – GVLAW.
