Cleide received her law degree in 1972 from the University of São Paulo Law School and holds an LL.M. in civil procedural law from Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP). In 1982, she joined the Federal Public Prosecutor’s Office, and was Chief Prosecutor of the Attorney General’s Office in São Paulo. Due to merit, she was promoted to the post of Assistant Attorney General of the Republic, having practice before the Superior Court of Justice (STJ). She retired from the Attorney General’s Office in 1996 and began to practice in Law firm, with outstanding works in the areas of tax, administrative and civil law. Author of the book “O Processo Tributário” (Revista dos Tribunais), she has published articles in several specialized magazines. She passed away in June of 2014. Everybody misses her a lot, but her teachings and values always remain present in the firm.
